I’m Adrian, a freelance, professional and committed graphic designer with over 25 years experience in the design industry.

 

I first started out working in advertising agencies in the West Midlands after doing 2 years at Solihull Technical College. An enjoyable time with the usual duties of making the tea and coffee for the Studio Manager, making my first attempt to create some artwork using the then traditional methods of spending eons in the darkroom with acetates, making a mess with Rotring pens and that sticky stuff, cow gum and spray mount. Oh and the occasional slicing my fingers with the scapel!

 

Fortunately things have progressed where I got the opportunity to use the Apple Mac to create my work for my then boss.

 

I moved into a different area where I got a job at an amusement machine manufacturer creating
their promotional literature for their products and the creation and organisation of all the graphic requirements for the companies annual exhibition event held at Earl’s Court (ATEI). 
I haven’t looked back since.

 

The company I run has worked on numerous projects with some of the biggest brands in the UK
as well as lots of smaller companies.

As a designer, my pleasure often comes weeks, months or even years after a project has been completed. It’s only then that I can look back and see what a positive difference good design
has made to a business.
